Easy critique. Form follows function. Each note, each pen-pal-letter-to-self has a self-encompassing description from whoever/whatever it may have come from. Each personified action keeps its proper voice throughout and each is as effective as the last. It's a pretty cookie-cutter, and it's effective. There is humor and sentiment throughout the entire poem, which brings the harsh reality all of the mentioned pen-pals have on us on a regular basis, but at the same time makes it very comfortable to deal with; the same way we feel comfortable enough to live with the pen-pals on that same regular basis. More excellent poetry.
