The walls mock me in my own apartment
glaring at me naked and unpainted.
I have attempted to decorate the walls
but I have succeeded with little more
than thumbtack masturbations of my own
squandered genius. The only emotion I
have any hope of evoking in my kitchen
or my bedroom is sadness, and if we're
being honest, is really rooted in pity.

The first of what could be accumulated as useful hypergraphia, but that's for the future to show and can't be rightly dealt with now, now can it. I realize it's a whine, but hopefully it becomes better for color tinting when there's a reason to look within the place I would take my time to describe in this way. There are other pieces in the works which will associate themselves with this, but this seemed self-contained enough to publish alone.
